Our Subject Matter Experts, Systems Analysts, Logisticians, and Technicians support and manage more than 50,000 TTL systems fielded to more than 225 Federal, State, and Local agencies and are used by thousands of personnel in support of operations, exercises and test events to ensure operational success.

 For the last decade, TBI has provided TTL hardware and support to our customers.  We provide full spectrum capabilities -- systems engineering, technical and operational SME, 24-hour help-desk functions, and logistical support; to include research and development, training, daily operations support, geospatial information systems, and Concept of Operations development.  Our rapid deployment teams and crisis response kits have been used to provide on-site support for  operations and exercises.  We staff professional installers with experience on hundreds of vehicles, dozens of watercraft, and ops center kits installed in NORTHCOM, CENTCOM, EUCOM, PACOM and AFRICOM.


We focus on requirements and tailor solutions to meet those unique organizational and mission needs.  Our SMEs provide all aspects of SA, to include systems engineering, data integration, independent COTS and GOTS system testing, training, and server/systems management and support.  We support Program of Record systems and tactical tools that operate homogenously and enhance one another's functions; increasing operational effectiveness.  We support each theater and have supported more than 1,500 events: 100+ Search and Rescues, 6yrs of national events, and dozens of disasters to include the Nepal earthquake, hurricanes, and fire responses.


TBI Staff brings operational (military and first responder) hands-on experience in dozens of Situational Awareness and Common Operational Picture systems  to our customers.   We focus on vetted and validated requirements for which we recommend and provide SA/COP solutions.  Our systems-agnostic approach ensures the best solution is provided to each of our users and tailored to the mission/operational need.



Based on our team’s operational experience and understanding of the criticality of logistics and support, TBI provides In-Transit Visibility programs with analytical, systems engineering, operational and technical insight as well as  CONOPS and Tactics, Techniques and Procedures development support.

TTL comes in many forms and supports many types of missions.  TBI SMEs and engineers understand the value of ITV and have been involved in ITV programs in USPACOM in which we supported asset tracking systems integration and inventory methods; USMCs ITV test pilot where we provided custom configured tracking devices and data dissemination architectures to support the ITV program, and with FEMA where we built a new system of systems called SAWGRASS which enabled FEMA to track assets, resources, and other items in near-real-time.  Our efforts today continue to focus on enhanced pallet and item tracking capabilities.


Our R&D efforts with SOCOM resulted in eight firmware changes to TTL systems, two new TTL systems, and multiple systems enhancements to hardware and SA software systems.  For AFA2, we have been the SME/operators leading the development of enhanced capabilities in a shared situational awareness tool that expands the scope from airmen to each service and joint operational users.  For AFRL we are working on sensors, biometrics, denied GPS, and data architectures to increase life safety systems for personnel recovery.  For the Army REF we are working on enhancements for multi-band TTL systems.  We have executed every project on time and on budget.


R&D efforts for TBI are focused on mission gaps, users’ needs and span from simple low cost efforts to multi-year projects.  We assume roles as SMEs, operators, and systems engineers as well as supporting the government team with test plan development and execution while managing project timelines and events such as Project Management Reviews, Integrated Project Team, and kickoff/transition meetings.



Although many Shared Situation Awareness Systems (SSA) support limited Command and Control (C2), TBI staff recognizes that C2 is a critical function that can either be embedded in existing systems or provided via tailored tools.  The end-state for this focus area is that we provide command centers, operations centers and tactical users with the ability to maintain SA and execute assured C2 throughout any event. 

We evaluate GOTS and COTS systems against COCOM, Services and subordinate users' needs/mission gaps to determine what systems meet needs.  Our evaluation is based on established criteria and results in a formal report.  We also support all systems that are fielded.  From integration of TTL systems into a tactical COP, enabling the Ops center and individual users to maintain SA and communicate globally (on-demand) via encrypted messaging, to providing training on each system and managing the server – TBI Staff provides tailored solutions with 24/7-365 Operational and technical support.  Efforts with AFA2 are geared at providing a single solution for SA/C2 that will meet 95% of the community needs.


Our staff works closely with users that conduct PR as well as agencies that provide oversight, solutions, and guidance to PR and with labs and technology sectors that support PR with hardware and software solutions.  We bring USAF Weapons School Officer knowledge of PR systems and capabilities as well as SME, engineers, and vast knowledge of systems (COTS/GOTS) capabilities to the community. For Dept of State and NORTHCOM, we have developed PR procedures and provided HW and data architecture solutions; for AFCENT, we fielded more than 1000 HW systems, established SA tools, and developed CONOPS/TTP/SOP for using TTL in support of PR events.  For government labs and AFA2 we are lead SMEs in the development of PR systems.


Our focus on Personnel Recovery is on tracking systems hardware, SA solutions, and data interoperability.  We work closely with users and PR experts, to include SERE instructors, Combat Rescue Officers, PJs, Joint Personnel Recovery Agency, and other agencies to enhance PR capabilities for DOD and Civil SAR.
